The Many Possible Reasons Why Your AdWords Campaigns Might Fail Without You Knowing

AdWords campaign

Are you looking to find some of the reasons why your AdWords (SEM) campaigns do not perform as well as you expect them to? Take a look at some of the reasons listed below and see what you can improve right now for better results.

You are not using all free functionalities AdWords offers. See device adjustments, demographic targeting, ad extensions or the more recent message extensions. Not all features are the right ones for your business, but it is up to you or your PPC manager to handle the testing and find the optimal solutions for the perfect ad structure for you.

Accidental clicks. People might click on your SERP ad simply by accident. This is something you can’t really avoid as people could be looking for what you are advertising but would rather not click on the ad. This is also an issue when your paid ad appears right above your very own organic link. You can only expect a user to know that you pay for every click and decide to go with the organic link instead.

Annoying ads. This is the case of remarketing as people are used to seeing your ad everywhere and coming across the ad once again on the search results page won’t make them trust you more. To solve this, limit the number of times your ad will show to a person who is involved in your remarketing process and test user reaction and interaction. Another mistake is retargeting someone who has already bought your product or used your services. Suppose the user who sees your ad for an online game you want to advertise is already playing the game on a regular basis. He/She may use the advertisement just to get back to the game. This does not generate any profit to you. The only way for you to save some of your clicks is by creating ads for advanced game/product features that are not being used by all players yet. Be aware that Internet users don’t trust most ads and people are still afraid to shop online.

Caring for Depression in the Workplace

Caring for Depression in the Workplace

Integrating employees with depression in the work field shouldn’t be a hassle. Most often, such employees find it difficult to adapt to new working conditions and even to cooperate with their co-workers. This, however, is no reason for shoving away a well-prepared possible or existing employee. Often, they become the subject of workplaces bullying. It is important that we create working conditions equal to those we offer to other employees. The purpose should be to end discrimination both in the recruitment/selection and in the working process.

Also, the nature of the company’s activity should not affect the candidate. If you truly believe that the working environment you provide may be harmful to them, it’s best that you recommend either other positions in your company or other ways of further developing his/her career in a different organization or field. DO keep their resume and records for any other future possibilities and assure them that they will be contacted in case a better position that matches their expertise is available. You should be aiming to objectively choose the right talent out of all the candidates.

Induction, as usual, should not be skipped and it can even be more detailed than usual. Check for signs that show how your working environment may be causing or influencing their depression. This is usually an indicator of a need to revise and improve the way in which you manage your human resources and working relations. Eventual conflicts inside your company can lead to workers’ ineffectiveness and exhaustion. Employees need to feel engaged in all of your tasks and want to be seen as efficient and dependable workers. As a leader, if you are truly interested in your employees’ well-being, express empathy and compassion without making anyone feel inferior or useless. Only a positive and enthusiastic attitude can lead to job satisfaction and even management appreciation. Stress in the workplace strongly impacts the performance of all of your personnel. Meeting the daily needs of your employees and dealing with possible issues should be a priority if you want your productivity to rise.

This present article summarizes several of the features which make the Romanian language influential and unique when compared to other languages, especially to the Slavic languages which are spoken in the neighboring countries. We observe the influence of the Dacians on the Romanian language, the singularity of Romanian sayings and expressions, and the reasons why Romanian literary works have become difficult to translate into other languages. Representative examples from dictionaries and academic references made by philologists involved in the Romanian linguistics field are tackled in order to provide a variety of approaches to this topic.

Keywords: Romanian language, Romanian sayings, Romanian expressions, linguistics

Recomandare film/carte Suna no onna – Femeia nisipurilor (1964)

Coperta cartii Femeia Nisipurilor - Kobo Abe

Creative Instagram Posts for Any Phone and Budget – Alexandra M. Coţe

Instagram posts

Here are a few types of photos you can take with any kind of phone regardless of its camera’s quality. This is my attempt to prove that you do not need photography experience or expensive resources for good content.

Note: Most of the photos below were taken using a 5-megapixel camera with almost no prior planning. Don’t mind the hashtags.

Desaturated photos

Desaturated pictures are a quick solution to camera-phone photos that appear to be too bright or flashy. Use the #saturation option for better control of the colors in your photography.

Writing From a Coffee Shop – Alexandra M. Coţe

writing from a coffee shop

This whole idealization of what the perfect place to work from is like has gone to the extent of being generalized to a common place: a building where people come and go, buy what they need or like and interact with other people. This seems like the proper place for getting constant inspiration away from your office or even from your own home. It is also the perfect distraction, thus lowering your productivity and slowing you down from completing your tasks. What you hear, see, touch, feel, and smell does not belong to you but can become the subject of your writings or blog rants. The coffee shop has now become the most commonly named place as being an ideal perfect working space for writers in particular.

I did not understand the fuss about writing in a different environment than the one you are used to until today. I used to think I was only able to write in closed, peaceful, and quiet surroundings, but today’s escape from my favorite writing place makes me believe that I will keep doing this from now on. It is here where time flies with a purpose. It is here where ideas can be written without your fingers ever leaving the keyboard. You sometimes lose initial ideas, you get them back, you get distracted, you get lost in your thought process… whatever. And if you don’t know why you began to write a sentence, you look around. You watch the diverse people you’re sharing the same room with aiming to extract their thoughts and put them onto paper. I could spend hours writing what the people next to me are talking about: books, history, time, contracts… another man leaves the shop because they don’t have what he usually buys… I am distracted, I want ice cream. Hours in, you want to change your place. It is the seat that you choose when you begin to write that will influence the manner in which you write and what you write about. If I had chosen to face the windows instead of the people, you would have been reading a description of the cars and the weather outside. Now, I choose to keep this article short. I choose to let both young and old people tell their own stories wherever and whenever they want to. I could write pages on made up life stories for everyone I see, but I won’t. I’ll stick to listening to the chill music and to pressing the keys while today’s unknown authors share their last talk before they leave. I like being young. I have never finished an article as fast as I did now.

As I’m writing at this very moment from a coffee shop for the first time I find this place to be the perfect environment for encountering new people, new stories, interesting facts, and even local authors I’ve met before outside of this realm. Another proof that the world is surely small. I guess this is where stories go to meet. No internet, just a laptop with WordPad on it and you’ll be able to finish a piece of writing in a totally different way than you had at first imagined its ending. I used to hate coffee shops. I will come back.
